Quality Assurance Department in MTRH focuses on the following principles; systems and processes, uses data to analyze service delivery processes and encourages a team approach to problem solving and quality improvement.
The department is oriented towards meeting the needs and expectations of the patient and the community. It requires commitment to finding out what patients and the community need, want and expect from the Hospital. Quality improvement efforts should be evaluated according to these needs and expectations. Quality Assurance also requires that health professionals’ needs and expectations are met. Ultimately, Quality Assurance encourages a team approach to problem solving and quality improvement.
